Rayvanny is a Tanzanian musician, composer, and recording artist on the WCB Wasafi label. He was born and reared in Mbeya City’s Nzovwe Ward, which is located in Mbeya Region. He is Tanzania’s most successful artist from the Mbeya area.

He is Next Level Music’s founder and CEO. Rayvanny is well known for his song “Kwetu,” which launched him into the spotlight. Rayvanny was named one of MTV Base’s “Acts to Watch” in 2017.

Rayvanny discovered his love for music in 2011, while still in high school. He took first place in a rap freestyle competition. In 2012, he joined a music group called Tip Top Connection, where he gained more experience in his music career and met many other musicians.

In 2015, he opted to join one of the major record labels, WCB Wasafi Records, which is managed and led by Diamond Platnumz. In 2016, he released his debut single, “Kwetu.” It was a big hit in East Africa.

Rayvanny was nominated for an MTV Africa Music Award in the Breakthrough Act category in 2016. In 2017, he was nominated for many music accolades, including the AEUSA Award for Best New Talent, the Uganda Entertainment Award for Best African Act, and the BET Award for International Viewers’ Choice.

Rayvanny established his own record label, Next Level Music, in 2021. Rayvanny will perform with Maluma on the song Mama Tetema in November 2021.
